Issue:

• When trying to add an SSL site, the process fails after asking for the SSL key/cert files with error "Internal error encountered while reading the Private Key or Certificate files."

Solution:

This issue could be related to the user permissions. If your user is not defined as an Administrator (local Administrator may not be enough) you might encounter this problem.

Sign on as a System Administrator and try again or rick click on the WebDefend console and choose Run As Administrator.

If the process continues to fail, open a case with TAC.
